Pisanki - Ukrainian Easter Eggs Class
Pisanki is a Polish/Ukrainian folk art that has existed for thousands of years. Learn how to make your own written eggs using a wax-resist writing method. Class participants will learn a little about the history of Pisanki and some of the traditional meanings of the symbols and colors. Each participant will get to make an egg (or two, time permitting). We use real eggs, candles and wax. All supplies provided. I have many designs available to copy, or participants can create their own designs.
Class/Event Refund Policy:
- For full refund, class cancellation must be made 7 days in advance before the first class date.
- Cancellations made after that time will receive any class kit they purchased, and they are welcome to come to Open Sew to get help with the project.
- In the event that Creekside Fabrics, Quilts, & Yarn must cancel a class, individuals who register for that class will be contacted and given a full refund.
- Creekside Fabrics, Quilts, & Yarn reserves the right to change these policies at any time.
