
Donation Request Policy
Creekside Fabrics, Quilts, & Yarn is honored to provide charitable donations for community groups. We receive many requests each year to provide prizes, fabric, cash donations, etc. It is important these donations reach the intended consumer and to that end, we have established the following rules for donation requests.
Requests will only be accepted on dated group letterhead (no emails) at least one month PRIOR to the scheduled event.
Letter must include the following details:
- Name of group
- Contact person with phone number, mailing and email address
- Date of the event
- Location of the event
- Short description of group and purpose of the event
- Expected attendance at the event
- Type and value of donation being requested
- Deadline to pick up items
- Name of person that will pick up items if granted
- A flyer or advertising should be included with the request, so we can validate the event and include it in our newsletter and social media as appropriate.
No group or representative of a group may request more than one donation per calendar year.
