UPCOMING EVENTS June 7 - Creekside's 4th Birthday Party - In celebration - Pat Knoechtel from Quilt In A Day will be here on Saturday, June 7 from 3-5pm to Celebrate with us! She is bringing Eleanor Burn's newest book "Victory Quilts" and all the Quilts she can pack into her vehicle to give us a wonderful Birthday Celebration. There will also be cake and door prizes. Creekside is 4 already - can you believe it? Some days it feels just like yesterday (and we won't talk about the other days!) June 21, July 5 & August 2 - Perry’s Farmers Market July 11-13 - Joen Wolfrom - Expert in Color and Visulation will be in Wyoming County. Creekside and The Wyoming County Arts Council is teaming up to bring you this awesome quilt artisit and her trunk show and lectures. On Friday night we will host the Reception and Trunk Show at Letchworth Central School. This is also a show and share night with all your great quilts. On Saturday, Joen will teach a class using color, then onto the Fiber Fest at Letchworth State Park then on Sunday Joen will teach a landscape Class. This weekend will be a whirlwind, but wonderful and Joen can't wait to see our beautiful County, nor can we wait to see her. Creekside will have all her books and color tool available. Call the Arts Council of Wyoming County to get pricing information and to reserve your spot. We will be limited on Class Size - so book now. Trunk show open to the public - $20.00 fee. Refreshments, time to show and share and a book signing will be available. July 25 & 26 - Arcade’s Fab 50’s- shop sale July 26th & 27th - Quaker Quilters Quilt show - Orchard Park. Creekside will be there! July 29 - Sandy demos at Catt. Co. Fair August 7 - Sandy demos at Catt. Co. Fair August 9 – 16 - Visit Sandy at the Wyoming Co. Fair September 5 & 6 - Bus Trip to Longeberger Basket, Quilty and Yarning things too. See your insert for complete information. September 26 – 28 – Quilting around Chautauqua with Eleanor Burns. Creekside is advertising on the following radio Stations: WCJW - Warsaw; WSPQ - Springville; WYRK - Buffalo (look at their website under Gift Certificates - after March 13); WXRL - Ramblin Lou each 1st Friday of the Month, they hold a remote from Nellies Restaurant right here in Arcade! Windmills of Wyoming County. When you come to Creekside Fabrics -make sure you take a drive on Route 39 East and view these magnificant windmills. Creekside is in the process of making a windmill kit - so you can own your very own! Sandy is almost done. Cozy Quilt Night Continues! A marvelous ministry that started with one friend caring for another. Connie Clark was our friend whom this ministry was for. Connie succumbed to cancer on January 6, 2007. She fought a good long fight, and right up until the end she was a true inspiration to anyone who knew her. She will be sadly missed, but the ministry continues to grow. There are now 5 chapters in which to be involved in if you're not close to Arcade. Contact Kelley Carson at 716-676-2751 for more information.
