(NOTE: due to the size of the file it may take a few minutes to download) Creekside Class Guidelines: Registration can be made in person, by phone, fax or by mail with a check or credit card payment. Class sizes are limited - you will be placed on a waiting list if a class is full. A supply list will be given at time of payment. No reservation will be made without payment. Please be on time and ready to start - Come early if you need to purchase anything before class. You must be knowledgeable of your sewing machine and have it in good working order. Just a Reminder! This is a general list of supplies needed for a quilting class. Always check your class list for any additional items. Cancellation Policy If Creekside cancels a class we will try to reschedule the class as soon as possible or if you prefer, a full refund will be given. If in doubt with difficult weather situations, please call the store in advance at 585-492-4226. Customer Cancellations must be made at least one week (7 days) in advance of the class. A store gift certificate will be given in the amount of the class. If the cancellation takes place less than 7 days in advance, no refund will be given. |

1. Kreative Kids Class fee: $10 + kit or materials Instructors: Robynn & Ellen Dates: Sats, June 14, July 12 & Aug. 9 Time: 9:30 - Noon Kids from ages 8 & up are welcome. June is a pillowcase , July a basket (no machines needed), August a scrap bag. New kids welcome – come join the fun. 2. Roman Shades Class fee: $10 - Instuctor: Joan Bigham Date: Saturday, June 14 ● Time: 1 – 3 PM Let Joan show you how to make these wonderful Roman Shades. Learn how to make a simple lined Roman Shade. Demo class with supply list and information sheet. 3. Mini of the month: Strawberries or choice Class fee: $15 + pattern - Instructor: Robynn Bruce Date: Tuesday, June 17 ● Time: 5:30 – 8:30 PM The mini of the month continues with Strawberries or hummingbird for June. These little instant gratification pieces add a little delight to any home. Great gift ideas as well. 4. T- Shirt Prep Class Class fee: $15 - Instructor: Sue Ralyea Date: Thursday, June 19 ● Time: 5:30 – 8:30 PM Sue is going to show you how to prepare those t-shirts to make a wonderful memory type quilt. 5. Stained Glass Tablerunner Class fee: $20 + book - Instructor: Robynn Bruce Date: Friday, June 20 ● Time: 10 – 2 PM This is the 4th tablerunner from the Exquisit Tablerunner book. Welcome in summer with this pretty tablerunner featuring the Forget-Me-Not flowers. Bring a snack to share. 6. Nifty Thrifty Strips Class “Stash Slasher Class” Class fee: $30 - Instructor: Christine Schultz Date: Saturday, June 21 ● Time: 9 – 3 PM If you love working with scraps and want to make a dent in your scrap stash, or are just looking for some new fun patchwork projects, this class is for you. Directions for eight delightful designs, plus lots of nifty tips (on color, cutting, sewing , and more) for making beautiful quilts. 2 ½” strips. Perfect for jelly rolls too. 7. Calling all Ellure Users! Class fee: FREE - Instructor: Sandy Pirdy Date: Tuesday, June 24 ● Times: 10 – 12; 1 – 3PM or 6 – 8PM Come spend some time getting aquainted with your Ellure Embroidery machine. Sandy will touch on all the important “ what to use for what” questions that you may have. A small project will be done. 8. Try before you buy – Serger! Class fee: Free - Instructor: Sandy Pirdy Date:Wednesday, June 25 ● Times: 10 – 12 or 6 – 8 PM Always wonder what the serger can do? Sandy is going to show you the lastest techniques that a serger can do. Come try out our machine, and test it before you buy. 9. Intro to free motion quilting (class size minimum 4) Class fee: $10 - Instructor: Joanne VanHise Date:Thursday, June 26 ● Time: 1-3 pm or 5-30 – 7-30 pm Are you ready to quilt that top, but afraid to start? Let Joanne take the fear out of free motion quilting. This is an intoduction to free motion quilting, plan on building your confidence and technique. |

Join Robynn as she shows you how to make this little wall hanging 11. Serger Quilt Class fee: $20 + pattern - Instructor: Sandy Pirdy Date:Tuesday, July 8 & 15 ● Time: 6 – 8 PM Dust off your sergers, and come let Sandy show you how to use those wonderful machines for more than sleep pants. This quilt is the perfect way to get re-aquainted with your serger and put it to good use. 12. Embroidery a Star Candle Mat Class fee: $15 - Instructor: Susan Ralyea Date:Thursday. July 10 ● Time: 1 – 4 or 5 – 8 PM Bring those embroidery machines and let Sue show you how to make an adorable candle mat. Sue will show you how to make more use of your embroidery machine. All machines welcome – bring owners manual. 13. “Sail” into Paper Piecing Class fee: $15 - Instructor: Joan Bigham Date: Wednesday, July 16 ● Time: 10 – 1 PM Paper piece this sailing quilt that is easy enough for beginners. A fun summer project. 14. Heart Design - Watercolor Class fee: $20 class + book - Instructor Robynn Bruce Date: Wednesday, July 23 ● Times: 10 - 2 pm or 5-9pm Are you scared of watercolor projects because of all the little squares? Do not be; let Robynn show you how easy it is. No pre-cutting necessary. This beautiful heart will enhance any room you put it in. 15. Easy Pieces Quilt Class fee: $30 + book - Instructor: Joanne VanHise Dates: Saturday, July 26 ● Times: 9 - 3 PM This quilt is just as the name says “Easy Pieces”. Joanne will show you how to make this quick and easy art quilt. Make any size, explore. New Class for Youth Kids Can Knit Too!
