(NOTE: due to the size of the file it may take a few minutes to download) Creekside Class Guidelines: Registration can be made in person, by phone, fax or by mail with a check or credit card payment. Class sizes are limited - you will be placed on a waiting list if a class is full. A supply list will be given at time of payment. No reservation will be made without payment. Please be on time and ready to start - Come early if you need to purchase anything before class. REMEMBER you get a 10% discount from us. You must be knowledgeable of your sewing machine and have it in good working order. Just a Reminder! This is a general list of supplies needed for a quilting class. Always check your class list for any additional items. Cancellation Policy If Creekside cancels a class we will try to reschedule the class as soon as possible or if you prefer, a full refund will be given. If in doubt with difficult weather situations, please call the store in advance at 585-492-4226. Customer Cancellations must be made at least one week (7 days) in advance of the class. A store gift certificate will be given in the amount of the class. If the cancellation takes place less than 7 days in advance, no refund will be given. |

June '10 CLASSES Free Motion Quiliting with Joanne Monday June 7, 2010 Time 6:00-9:00pm Cost $15.00 Hesitant to try free motion? Joanne loves to teach this class, come and practice with her. Bring with you quilt sandwiches to practice on. Make sure your sewing machine has a free motion foot. Merry Christmas Quilt – Wool Block of the Month with Sue R Thursday June 17, 2010 Time: 6:00-8:000pm Cost: Kit $30.00 Class $10.00 This is a wonderful wall hanging with flannel background, beautiful wool appliqués on top. Sue is in the process of creating it, Sandy is in the process of dying the wool! American Flag Wall Hanging – With Robynn Monday, June 21, 2010 Time: 10am-2pm or 5-9pm Cost: $20.00 plus pattern and fabrics Show off your patriotic side with this small yet powerful looking wall hanging or table topper. Use it for your 4th of July party as the centerpiece on your table. Pre-cutting is required – will speed up the finishing process!!! QFL – Brown Cow Dinner with Cheryl – Theme - My First Quilt Tuesday, June 22, 2010 Time: 6-9pm Everyone brings a dish to pass. Must be brown or have at least one brown ingredient. There will be a day set aside each month so you can work on this together. Creekside Customer Request: Pillow Cases with Robynn Saturday, June 26, 2010 Times: 9:00 or 10:00 or 11:00 or Noon Cost: $10.00 Bring with you ¾ yard theme fabric, ¼ yard trim color and 1/8 yard for flange. Let Robynn show you the “Hot-Dog” method. You can whip these up in no time. If you would like – donate them to the 1 million pillow case challenge. We are a participating store. These pillow cases stay locally and will be donated to the Pioneer Pro organization at Pioneer Central School – QFL members – get extra points on this class! |

July '10 CLASSES Circles Circles with Robynn Wednesday, July 7, 2010 Time: 10:00-1:00 or 5:30-8:30pm Cost: $15.00 plus book and supplies Learn how easy it is to make a cute table topper, wall hanging or bed size quilt using circles! Use your favorite fabric, pick out a contrasting color, cut the circle and sew together. This is a fast, fun and easy way to spend the day sewing. Hint: Fat Quarters are perfect for each circle. Bellingrath with Robynn Saturdays, July 10 and 17 (two classes) Time: 9:30-12:30 each day Cost: $30.00 pattern included-Prep work required! This quilt is perfect for using those BIG floral or prints you hate to cut. Uses a 10 ½” square of your fabric so you get to really appreciate the designs. This pattern is from Grizzly Gulch Designs. Quilt Smart“Old Glory” Flag with Lorraine Sunday, July 11, 2010 Time: Noon to 3pm Cost: $15.00 plus kit (makes two flags) and fabrics of your choice Wait until you see this Cutie!! QFL – All Day Charity Sew Event with Cheryl Tuesday: July 13, 2010 Times: 10:00-5:00pm Stay for one hour or all day-Pattern provided Cost: Free Bring some of your stashed fabric and make pillow cases for the Million Pillowcase Challenge! If you want – we have kits available for $6.00. Pillow Cases donated to Creekside will be donated to Pioneer Central Schools Giving tree this fall. Our Goal is 300 pillow cases by Dec 1st. Any QFL members donating pillowcases during the QFL season will earn 25 extra points! AccuQuilt GO! With Michelle - Project – Starry Stars Wednesday, July 14, 2010 Times: 2-4pm or 5:30-7:30 Cost: $10.00 plus fabric and pattern All you Go! Users this class is for you. Bring your cutter, fabric, and spend a couple of hours with us creating this cute wall hanging. Spend the first hour cutting – the second hour piecing to get you started. If you don’t have a Go! Cutter, Creekside has one so you can experience it for yourself! Creekside is so pleased to have Wenda here with us. These classes fill quickly sign up soon. QFL – Team Creekside has an “away” game scheduled at Team Calico Gals The Bovine Beauties will be hosting a bus trip for all our team members and cheerleaders! We will travel via Limo-Bus to both Calico Gals Stores then onto a surprise stop on the way home. Lunch will be provided along with lots of fun, games and shopping, shopping, shopping! Sunday, July 18 Time 8:00am-6:00pm Cost: $50.00 lunch, tip to driver and special stop on the way home. Fabric shopping – on your own!!!!!! Block Party with Deb Wiedemann – Love Bird Lane Help! She has developed the pattern and wants to share it with you. QFL Game Day with Team Calico! Saturday, July 24, 2010 Times: 11:30ish to 12:30ish Team Calico Gals travel to The Bovine Beauties – come and welcome them! We have home field advantage – as they will be coming to us from Oliver’s Candy and with chocolate overload – we will overwhelm them with the beauty of Arcade– then we will send them to lunch at the Gray Fox Pub – then onto Wine Country where they will wind down after a day of Shopping Fun! One For the Money – with Cheryl Wednesday, July 28 Time: 10-2pm Cost: $20.00 plus pattern and fabric Another great pattern from Grizzly Gulch!
